Boost IQ takes the raw telemetry from your uploaded performance log and organizes it into graphs, charts, summaries, and pull replays. Instead of looking through rows of numbers in a spreadsheet, you can visualize exactly what your vehicle recorded during each pull. The underlying telemetry is never altered or modified. It's simply presented in a more visual and organized way.

While every effort is made to provide accurate telemetry interpretations, Boost IQ is continuously evolving. You may occasionally encounter bugs, incomplete features, or interpretations that are inaccurate or improve over time as the platform continues to be refined.

It reads the data contained in an uploaded log file and presents it through visualizations and technical explanations for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not provide mechanical diagnoses, tuning recommendations, repair advice, or any professional automotive service.

All observations and interpretations are automated, based solely on the values contained in the uploaded log, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Vehicle behavior can vary based on fuel quality, weather, maintenance history, modifications, driving conditions, and many other factors that may not be reflected in a single log. Always verify important decisions using appropriate diagnostic procedures and qualified professionals.

Boost IQ is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any tuning platform, automotive manufacturer, or aftermarket parts manufacturer. Privacy

Boost IQ runs entirely in your web browser on your own device. It has no user accounts or login system. Log files you open are processed locally and stored only in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. Clearing your browser's data removes them, along with any saved preferences or vehicle profiles stored on your device.

Boost IQ does not use analytics or tracking cookies. The application loads a small number of assets, such as web fonts and charting libraries, from third-party content delivery networks. As with any web request, those providers may receive your IP address and standard request information necessary to deliver those resources.

How it works

Boost IQ transforms traditional performance logs into an interactive dashboard while preserving every value exactly as recorded. The result is the same telemetry, represented in a more visual and organized way.

How Boost IQ works. The same raw datalog data shown two ways: before, as a CSV spreadsheet full of rows and columns that is easy to overlook; after, as an interactive Boost IQ dashboard with a performance score, boost curve, timing and corrections, and key metrics like peak boost, AFR, HPFP, IAT, and trims. Boost IQ reads the log exactly as recorded and represents it visually.

Common questions

Does Boost IQ connect to my vehicle?
No. Boost IQ only works with a CSV performance log that you manually upload. It has no connection to your vehicle or tuning hardware and cannot read or modify anything directly from the car.
How accurate are the readings?
The readings are the exact values recorded in the performance log, so they are as accurate as the log itself. General observations are intended as a baseline reference and should not be considered a diagnosis, tuning recommendation, or assessment of any specific vehicle, modification, or tuning setup.
Which logs are supported?
Boost IQ currently supports JB4, EK1, and OBD-II performance logs from compatible adapters such as the OBDLink MX+. Support for additional platforms is planned over time.
Does Boost IQ support my vehicle?
Boost IQ works with any vehicle that can produce a supported log. Today that means JB4 and EK1 datalogs, along with OBD-II logs from compatible adapters such as the OBDLink MX+. If your vehicle can generate one of those, Boost IQ can read it, and support for additional platforms is planned over time.
Why does Boost IQ ask about my fuel, tune, or modifications?
Those selections provide context when interpreting your performance log. They never modify the underlying data and are only used to better tailor the observations shown in the dashboard.
Is the data private?
Yes. Performance logs are read and processed entirely within your web browser on your device. They are never uploaded to a server.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Boost IQ works entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, logins, or sign-ups required.
Can I use Boost IQ on my phone?
Yes. Boost IQ works on modern desktop and mobile browsers, allowing you to review logs from virtually any device.
Does it cost anything?
No. Boost IQ is free to use. Optional support through the Community tab helps cover hosting costs and continued development.

Release notes

Boost IQ is a personal project in active development. Here's a record of what's new, with more always on the way.

v1.4 August 1–2, 2026
  • NewThree additional vehicles. Kia K5 GT-Line 1.6T, Kia K4 GT-Line Turbo and Hyundai Sonata N Line 2.5T. Each is analyzed against reference data measured from real logs of that vehicle, cross-checked against how known-good runs on that platform behave.
  • NewEngine selection. Vehicles offered with more than one engine now prompt for the engine you're running. Engines awaiting log data are listed alongside them and marked accordingly, so the status of every platform is visible.
  • NewFavourites. Star any vehicle to pin it to the front of the library. The library is presented on every upload, and a favourite reduces selection to a single tap.
  • NewPaged vehicle library. Six vehicles per page with page navigation, so the library remains readable as the list of supported platforms grows.
  • NewInterface audio. Subtle click and hover feedback throughout the application, with a mute control beside the version number.
  • ImprovedMobile layout. A full pass across the mobile interface: vehicle previews presented two per row at a consistent size, controls scaled for touch input, and several sections that were being clipped on narrow screens now display in full.
  • FixedDuplicate vehicle entries. The Stinger and G70 each appeared twice in the library after their second engine was added.
  • FixedAsset delivery in production. Several application files, offline support among them, were being served incorrectly and had no effect.
v1.3 July 29–31, 2026
  • NewTwo more cars. Hyundai Elantra N and BMW M235i Gran Coupe, alongside the Stinger and G70. Each one gets its own numbers, pulled from real logs of that car instead of borrowed from the Stinger.
  • NewPick your car first. Vehicle selection now leads the upload, with photos. Fuel, map, boost cap and mods all sit on the next screen. Been here before? It skips straight to that screen with your car already set.
  • NewCalibration status. Every report says how many logs sit behind its reference numbers. A platform we've got a stack of logs for and one added last week shouldn't look the same.
  • ImprovedMods stay with the car they're on. Your build is saved per vehicle now, so one car's downpipes don't turn up explaining another car's log.
  • ImprovedEvery number matches the car. Reference ranges, descriptions and tooltips all read to the vehicle being analyzed. No more Stinger figures quoted on a BMW.
  • ImprovedTidier summary. Grade, what it means and the build it was read through now sit in one panel next to your car instead of spread down the page.
  • FixedLogs land on the right car. Boost IQ now reads the platform code the JB4 writes into every log, so a log can't get scored against another car's numbers.
  • FixedOffline loading. Pages cache properly again, so the app opens on a weak signal.
v1.2 July 25–28, 2026
  • NewEK1 and OBD-II logs. Both open alongside JB4 logs now, each read only for the channels it actually carries.
  • NewFull fuel list. 17 options: pump grades, 100 unleaded, and E20 through E85. The read shifts with how much ethanol is really in the tank.
  • NewFlex sensor support. Running a flex sensor? The live ethanol reading gets used instead of whatever fuel you picked.
  • ImprovedStraighter wording. Readings come back as Typical, Watch or Attention. That's a comment on the data in front of us, not a verdict on your motor.
  • ImprovedMap 6 handled properly. Map 6 is your own boost curve, so the report describes what the log did rather than holding it to a preset's targets.
  • ImprovedMissing channels say so. If your log doesn't carry a channel, it's called out as missing instead of being read as a zero.
v1.1 July 21–24, 2026
  • NewWhere in the rev range it happened. Boost and fuelling broken out band by band across the sweep, with a per-cylinder timing map beside them. You can see where in the pull something went on, not just that it did.
  • NewSpool and response. How fast boost came in, and whether it held once it got there.
  • NewRead per system. Ignition, fuel, boost and cooling each get their own score, so one number can't hide which side of the run it came from.
  • ImprovedTighter grading. Samples taken off boost (idle, a lift, the moment after a shift) no longer count toward the pull. Those were marking down clean runs.
  • NewCoolant pressure. Running a CPA sensor? A pressure rise under load now gets reported. That's the whole reason the sensor is on the car.

  • NewMore ways to see a pull. Extra interactive views for working through how a run unfolds.
  • NewYour car on the report. The vehicle sits front and center, so it's clear what's being described.
  • NewReplay and compare. Step back through a run sample by sample, or put two of them side by side.
  • ImprovedOpens more logs. A wider range of logs and setups read cleanly, with the groundwork down for more vehicles.
  • NewExport and sharing. Save a result or send it on, laid out clean and ready to post.
  • ImprovedPlenty of small fixes. Layout, clarity and reliability, with more on the way.
